FAQ
Artificial Grass questions
How long does artificial grass last?
Good-quality artificial grass typically lasts many years, depending on the product, how much it is used and how much direct sun it gets. A properly prepared and compacted base, secure edges and simple regular care help it last longer and stay looking neat.
How do you clean and maintain artificial grass?
Remove leaves and debris with a leaf blower or stiff brush, brush the fibres against the grain now and then to keep them upright, and rinse the surface occasionally, especially where pets use it. There's no mowing, watering or fertilising.
Is artificial grass good for dogs?
Yes. Artificial grass doesn't develop muddy patches or bare spots, and it drains through its backing. Pick up solid waste and rinse the area regularly to keep it fresh. Let us know if pets will use the lawn so we can prepare a free-draining base.
Artificial lawn or real lawn: which is better?
Artificial grass suits low-maintenance gardens, shady or high-traffic spots where real grass struggles, and homes where saving water matters. A natural lawn is cooler underfoot, cheaper to install and good for the environment, but it needs mowing, watering and feeding. See the comparison on this page for a side-by-side view.
